WILD FLOWERS
Wildflower honey by definition comes from multifloral, or polyfloral sources. Meaning, it comes from a wide variety of flowers and blooms from an area within a three mile radius of the hive. Honey composition, flavour, taste, structure and texture, is mainly affected by its botanic and geographic origin.

CHESTNUT
Chestnut Honey is one of the classic, gourmet dark honeys which comes from the chestnut tree. It is regarded as one of the best honeys in the world. It can vary from brown to near-black. The taste of chestnut honey is intense and has a slightly bitter aftertaste which is also persistent and lasts long enough to maintain a strong aromatic experience.
Chestnut honey resists crystallization for a long time (1-2 years) as it has high proportion of fructose and low glucose levels. This honey has also high nutritional benefits as it is found rich in trace elements and amino acids, highly appreciated by those who like a strong, less sweet honey. Blossoms from May to June. The chestnut honey is probably the richest variety in trace elements such as potassium, magnesium, manganese, barium but it is also rich in tannins which act as antioxidants and they strengthen the immune system.
